Pricing
Airbrushing is an art form that requires a high level of skill and talent, which varies depending on the artist. Dappa Dan has been airbrushing for over 30 years across a range of different mediums. The complexity of the design and the number of colors used will influence the final price of a project.
Dappa Dan has a minimum charge of $250 for any airbrushing project, with no exceptions. This policy allows him to focus on higher-end projects and discourages low-budget inquiries, not to be so bold. There's an old saying: "You get what you pay for!" If you want top-quality airbrush artistry, it's important to invest in the skills and expertise that the artist has honed over many years, much like a tattoo artist. Additionally, inflation has increased the costs of equipment and supplies. However, Dappa Dan is committed to providing you with the best quality for your investment.
Shipping
Shipping is an excellent way to save you time and effort. When considering your options, think about the cost of your time, fuel, wear and tear on your vehicle, and the potential expense of dining out. While shipping may take a bit longer, it can significantly reduce the hassle for you as the client. Typically, the client is responsible for shipping costs to us, but we cover the return shipping to you. When your motorcycle parts, helmet, leather vest, jacket, or other items are returned to you via UPS, you can be assured that your belongings will be well-packed with cushioned materials to protect your investment. However, you are also welcome to deliver and pick up your items in person if you prefer. If you are located within the state of Oregon, Western Idaho, Northern California, or Eastern Nevada, pickup and delivery can be arranged through Dappa Dan's Airbrushed Murals for your convenience, but there will be a predetermined fee for this service.
Dappa Dan Coming to you to Airbrush.
Bigger projects cannot always be shipped or delivered for airbrushing. Dappa Dan is willing to come to you, which can sometimes be a viable alternative for clients. However, travel time in both directions will impact pricing, as will any overnight hotel stays that may be necessary. Having Dappa Dan come to you can sometimes be a disadvantage for the artist, as the lengthy drive can lead to fatigue and weariness. He will make every effort to bring everything needed for the project, but it’s possible that something may be left behind and will need to be sourced later to complete your project. Therefore, it is crucial for clients to inform Dappa Dan of all the expectations and tasks to be completed before his travel. This ensures that everything required for your project is packed and brought along.
